Freezer Finds

Whoops, half my photos for today are on my other computer…I have a bad habit of deleting pictures after I upload them and that bites me in the bum if I decide to post from my laptop instead of my desktop.

Oh well, I’ll fill in the blanks tomorrow.  I’m sure you all know what a banana and a Starbucks latte look like.  :)  That was breakfast on the run for a doctor’s appointment.

Lunch was a freezer find…Black Bean & Sweet Potato patty…on a toasted sandwich thin with a double scoop of Sabra crack hummus, tomato slices, and spinach…

There’s something extra yummy about the toasted chewiness of the bread with the garlicky creaminess of the hummus.  Nom!!

Afternoon snack was a Golden Delicious apple with drizzled almond butter and sprinkled cinnamon…

My evening plans got a bit foiled because I had someone respond to one of my Kijiji ads for a piece of furniture I needed to sell…so while waiting on them to arrive I started dinner but couldn’t put it in the oven… For some reason I figured a good appetizer would be the leftover jelly beans from last night…

But don’t worry…I managed to escape them when the lady arrived to buy her item.  Then I got into dinner…

Another treat from the freezer (can you tell I’m moving soon and trying to use things up? ha!)… Chicken, Spinach and Sweet Potato Enchilada with salad…

Spinach, celery, cucumber, radishes, tomatoes and salsa

After dinner my time just got away from me.  I had hoped to go to yoga, or at the very least get to the gym…but by the time I finished eating it was 8pm, and I still needed groceries so that was that.

Got home from shopping and settled into my jammies with a few of the leftover Cinnamon RiceWorks chips from last night…

I had all of these grand intentions of getting a start on my packing tonight, but after one box I lost my steam and ended up sitting on the couch and now I’m tragically watching The BacheloretteOh cable TV…you are bad for us single gals! ha!

Congrats on the sell! I delete my pictures usually once or twice a week. I'm kind of anal when it comes to the pictures. I have a fild on my desk top called Food, and in that folder are 7 folders. I load my pictures into the corresponding day of the week folder. lol then I go through and find the good ones and trash can the ones that are no good. Re-size them and they are ready for loading. If I need to refere back to it throughout the week (left overs), then they are on my desk top for a few days or a week.

Question: Is Almond Butter better for you than Peanut Butter???

Thanks for reminding me about those burgers. YUM!

Becca: you would have to Google it, but yes I believe almond butter is better for you that peanut butter because the fats in almonds are better for you than the fats in peanuts. Having said that, I think that if enjoyed in reasonable portions both are good sources of protein. Just ensure you are buying the all natural varieties with no added sugar.
