Thursday is the new Friday

Lately it seems that lots of folks are having a whole lotta fun on Thursday nights.  This week it was my turn.  :)

Knowing I was up for a night of indulgent food I kept my morning eats fresh and healthy.  Strawberry Banana smoothie!!

In the KA: ice, whole banana, 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, 1/4 cup whole oats, 1 tsp chia seeds, 3/4 cup vanilla soy milk.

Lunchtime leftovers.  Impromptoup with English muffin & Laughing Cow.

Oh yes, a fun package arrived in the mail!!

When Arron was stationed in Sudan last year he took a trip to Europe during one of his leave periods.  While traveling France he picked me up two mugs for my collection!!

It’s been a while since he returned to Halifax but my gifties finally arrived!  Along with the mugs he sent a magnet (for my other collection), popchips (!!!), and a copy of The Family Stone.

When we divided our DVD collection I took Love Actually and left him The Family Stone.  We used to watch the two of them together at Christmas so I took my fave and left him his.

He wanted us both to have the set so bought himself LA and sent me my own copy of FS.  :)

Of course, the popchips were speaking to me.

After racing around like a mad woman to get ready for my evening’s adventures I hopped in the car for hour drive out to Sooke.  Dinner was still a ways off so I snacked on this Macadamia Dream bar sent to me by Laura.

LOVE macadamias!

I will leave you with a teaser of my Thursday night…dinner and accommodations courtesy of a writer friend…

Stay tuned.  Dinner was nothing short of awesome.
